FPS provides customized and tailor designed solutions for your needs of processing Mayonnaise and Sandwich Spreads. The unit tailor designed to the required specifications basis on the formula and process parameters at each stage of the process. The heart of the FPS Mayonnaise system is the Inline High Shear Homogenizer used to achieve a finer droplet size and smooth texture of the product, the Inline Homogenizer is specially designed for preparation of a stable emulsion of the milk phase and oil phase as per the formulation.

FPS Mayonnaise Processing Plant can be classified into following stations:

Processing Station

This station processes the raw ingredients (namely RO Water, SMP, Oil, Gums, Preservatives, Spices and blends, etc.) to final prepared Mayonnaise or Spreads which is fed to the Packaging Station

Packaging Station


This station packs the prepared Mayonnaise or Spreads into desired forms of packaging may be sachet, bottle, pouches, etc.

Utility Station


This station is responsible to supplying necessary utilities namely electricity, water, chilled water, steam, air, etc. to each of the station for its operation.

FPS offers the following processes for a requirement of Mayonnaise Processing Plant:

Mayonnaise Preparation Vessel



The Mayonnaise preparation Vessel is customized basis on the capacity of the batch, will have process either for heating or cooling basis on the process whether it is hot processed or cold processed Mayonnaise with relevant mixing systems majorly a scraper agitator unit.

Oil Feeding Vessel

The required volume of oil is stored into the feeding vessel for a batch and further fed directly to the inlet of the homogenizer ensuring each droplet of oil is well emulsified into the aqueous phase.

Aqueous Phase Preparation & Feeding Vessel


The Aqueous Phase preparation vessel is customized basis on the capacity of the mayonnaise preparation vessel, for preparing the premix solution for each batch. The vessel shall comprise of a scrapper agitator or a In-Tank High Shear homogenizer for efficient dispersion of gums, preservatives or other ingredients into the aqueous phase.

Piping, Base-frame, Valves and Connections

The intermediatory connections of each individual component is made through piping connections- using food grade connections (majorly TC Clamps/ SMS unions), Butterfly/ Ball Valves, Sanitary piping and bends.

Inline High Shear Homogenizer: Specially designed for Mayonnaise Emulsification

The Multi-Stage High Shear homogenizer is the heart of FPS Mayonnaise Processing Unit which is responsible for achieving super fine droplet sizes of the oil droplets, ensuring a very smooth texture and stability of the mayonnaise emulsion. The material is being re-circulated through the High Shear Homogenizer for certain times for achieving the final results.

Control Panel

The unit is controlled through a centralized panel comprising of suitable starters, relays, switches for each component and have options for either semi-automatic or fully-automatic operations.
