Fruit & Vegetable Pulper
FPS range of pulpers are suitable for processing of stone fruit and vegetable separating residues and pulp from a range of fruits and vegetables like tomato, amla, pineapple, chilly, strawberry, raspberry, mangoes and much more. Pulpers are used to remove stones, extract pulp and separate slag from the feed fruits and vegetables.
Features:
- Type: Single Stage Pulper/ Two Stage Pulper (Dual Pulper)
- M.O.C: S.S. 304, S.S. 316L
- Suitable for Volumes up to 5,000kg/hr
- Compatible with a wide range of screen size (1/16”, 1/32”, 1/48”, 1/64”)
- Drive Motors (in HP): 1 HP, 3 HP, 5 HP, 10 HP
Working Principle:
FPS pulper machine works on the principle of crushing of fruits and vegetables through the mesh screen wherein the residue/ waste is being passed through the slag hole and the prepared pulp is passed through the material outlet hole. The feed material is fed into the feed hopper, which transmit the material into the working head, i.e., the rotary brushes and the mesh screen. The brushes push the material outwards to the mesh screen through centrifugal force where the fruits and vegetables are crushed into fine pulp, where the prepared pulp passes through the mesh screen (as per the mesh sizes available- 1/16” / 1/32”/ 1/48” / 1/64”) while the waste (seeds/peel) keeps on passing through the slag hole. The unit is driven by electrically driven motor through a belt drive.
Major Types:
Single stage pulper comprises of a single set of pulping drum, containing the mesh sieve and brushes, wherein the material is formed in a single pass through the pulping head.
Two Stage Pulper or twin Pulpers comprises of two sets of pulping drums, each containing its own set of mesh sieve and brushes, where the material is pulped in two stages, first stage having bigger sieves (majorly 1/16” or 1/32”) for initial crushing with coarse pulp which is fed to the second stage having finer sieves (majorly 1/64”) for final crushing with finer or smoother pulp. Twin Pulpers are majorly used for fine pulping applications to obtain smooth and fine pulp
Applications:
- Mango Pulp
- Strawberry Pulp
- Blueberry Pulp
- Tomato Pulp
- Pumpkin Pulp and many more
