Inline Liquid Powder High Shear Mixer is an indigenous unit having inline suction of powders to the liquid flow with dispersion tool to efficiently disperse the powders into the liquid to form a homogeneous solution. The Inline LPM comprises of a specially designed dual stage pumping and homogenizing working tools, namely the rotor and stator. The unit is widely used for efficient dispersion of liquid-powder mix having higher concentration of solids and high yields.

Configuration of Inline Liquid Powder Mixer in Process:
- The Inline Liquid Powder mixer is integrated in a re-circulation loop with a Batch Mixing Vessel.
- The Solid Phase ingredients are fed to the powder feeding funnel, the outlet of the same is connected with a funnel outlet valve, once the valve is turned on, the specially designed primary stage rotor creates a negative pressure, thus creating a suction of the solid phase while the secondary stage combination of rotor-stator creates an efficient dispersion through high shear energy in the rotor-stator and pumps the mix into the mixing vessel. In this manner, a continuous feeding of the solids is achieved ensuring all the powder content fed to the mixing vessel is homogenized, avoiding formation of agglomerates or fish-eyes in the mix.
- The liquid phase ingredients are added to the mixing vessel while the circulation of the liquid phase is switched on through the Inline LPM.
- A continuous loop of the inline dispersion and mixing is formed, until the required concentrates of the solids are fed into the mix. Thereafter, the funnel outlet valve is turned off and material is recirculated until the sample is approved and the material is discharged through the outlet valve.
Shear Force Principle:
FPS Inline Liquid Power Mixers works on the principle of shear force produced in between the rotor and stator. The high-speed rotation of the rotor sucks the material into the eye of the rotor wherein high amount of centrifugal force throws the material outwards towards the stator wall. The material is sheared off as the high rotational kinetic energy is converted to heat energy because of disruption to the flow of the material in between the rotor and stator further leading to the high amount of shear energy in a small confined space, also known as the tolerance in between the rotor and stator.
Working of Inline Liquid Powder Mixer:
High Speed Rotation of rotor blades exerts a powerful suction, drawing in liquids directly into the eye of the rotor.
Solid/Powder inlet is switched on with the powder inlet valve and the powders are also sucked in due to the powerful negative suction (also known as vacuum) is created into the rotor eye.
Material is centrifugally forced to the tolerance between the rotor and inner walls of the stator where liquid phase is mixed with the solid phase as vigorous hydraulic shearing as the material is forced through the perforations in the stator.
A continuous mixing pattern is maintained due to continuous radial expulsion and suction into the eye forming a stable mixing pattern.

Highly efficient for dispersion of thickeners, stabilizers, emulsifiers, etc.
Dissolution of Pectin, Xanthum, Alginate, CMC, Guar or similar substances.
Fluidization of hazardous powders like Diatomaceous Earth, Activated Charcoal, Silica acid, Aerosil, HDK, Gasosil.
